ECHOES - Voices of the Displaced Children -a project aims to document their memories and experiences through writings, illustrations, poetry, and other forms of artistic expression.

“Echoes: Voices of the Displaced Children” is a project initiated by Chaoba Thiyam (SIYOM) a folk practitioner and independent researcher, in collaboration with Matai Society to compile and amplify the personal expressions of displaced children from Manipur. Our project aims to document their memories and experiences through writings, illustrations, poetry, and other forms of artistic expression. By doing so, we seek to provide a platform for these young voices to be heard, preserving their memories, stories and experiences for raising an awareness about their plights in the conflict zones in Manipur.
